So, you always hear those cliche country songs about meeting the farmers' daughter while working. Well, Nathan and Brigit are that couple. While Brigit's father was working on a building project for Nathan's father she happened to bring her dad lunch and fate has it, Nathan was there. Before you know it she was dropping by more often with an extra lunch bag in hand. Nathan's brother told a way funnier version of that story during his best man speech.
I love how well these two complement each other. And their pastor commented on that during their wedding ceremony. A mixture of reserve and spunk mixed in with a little country!
There reception was a party! With four hundred guest the dance floor was packed. Everyone was having a good time. Which brings me to what I take away from this wedding. I loved Nathan and Brigit's sense of community. Being in the dairy business both sides know a great deal of people. With hugs and smiles they made it a point to greet their guest and thank them for coming. Their gratitude was refreshing. It was an evening they will never forget and I'm so happy I was there to capture it.
